More forceful has been the president of the PP, Pablo Casado, who affirms in a message posted on Twitter that «the assault on the Capitol is unacceptable. Democracy is based on parliamentary representation that cannot be coerced.

“It is unfortunate that a great nation like the US”, Pablo Casado added, “suffers this institutional crisis that the outgoing president must tackle and I trust the president-elect will overcome.”
