The World Cup already has a calendar and seven races will be held in Spain
The MotoGP world championship He already has dates for his return, after several months postponing races due to the world emergency caused by the coronavirus. The World Cup will start on July 19 with the Spanish Grand Prix at the Jerez circuit, which will expand its offer the following week, with the Andalusian Grand Prix on July 26. The races will be held behind closed doors.
Spain has a very important calendar share, since in addition to Jerez, Motorland –GP of Aragon and GP of Teruel– and the Ricardo Tormo Circuit –GP of Valencia and GP of Europe– also participate twice in this MotoGP return, to which we must also add the traditional event of Montmeló, with the Catalan Grand Prix on September 27.
Total, seven races out of the 13 scheduled in a calendar that also highlights the asterisks on races outside Europe, which are pending a final decision, and can be added to those mentioned.
After a third race in the Czech Republic, the drivers will travel to Austria, at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, where, as in Formula 1, there will be a double with the Austrian Grand Prix and the Styria Grand Prix. A new double at Misano will precede the return to Spain with the Catalan GP, before moving on to Le Mans and closing the provisional calendar with the doublers from Motorland and Cheste.
