Two women attack an Iranian cleric who caught their attention for walking their dogs

Two women have attacked a cleric in Tehran because he had reproached them for walking their dogs, which is prohibited according to the strict moral code imposed after the Islamic Revolution. The women chased the religious and rammed him with a car.

First, after the religious's reproach, the women began to insult him and when he alerted the police, they persecuted him until they finally ran over him with a car and fled the place. The man has a head wound.

The Police already investigates what happened and tries to identify those responsible. If they are accused of personal injury and omission of help they could be sentenced to jail time.

Dogs are considered as impure animals by the Iranian clergy, but they are increasingly popular in the country and take advantage of the late afternoon to walk these pets, when the ban is more lax.
